Finding Direction and Meaning in a Changing World
Friday, January 20, 2012
8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
[I]n our changing world, it’s not easy to maintain balance and a sense of direction. Our daily lives often leave little time to contemplate the bigger picture of both our personal lives and the changes in the universe. In this practical and helpful workshop, we will focus on proposed changes related to 2012, looking at primary theories for this important year. We will also look at our personal roles within this changing structure, setting our intention for ways to maintain balance, stay grounded, and move into new spiritual dimensions. Teaching includes hypnotherapy, lecture, discussion, and exercises. This workshop is a MUST for this coming year!
This School Called “Earth”: Evaluating Your Lessons
Friday, February 24, 2012
8:30 a.m. -3:30 p.m.
[L]earning life’s lessons centers around the premise that Earth is a school and life is our classroom. Our daily challenges in the areas of finance, work, relationship, and health, among other areas, create our learning and spiritual growth. The value of our life experiences center on what we learn in the processes we go through. Difficult lessons may help us develop the most awareness and self-reflection, yet every challenge has its merit. In this workshop, we will explore our life challenges, evaluate the lessons, rate our participation, release negative self-judgment, and discover the bigger picture of our exploration in this life journey. Material includes lecture, discussion, exercises, and hypnotherapy.
Welcome to Your Outer Child: Overcoming Self-Defeating Patterns
Thursday, March 29, 2012
8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
[M]uch work has focused on the Inner Child and our role in embracing this child to heal our soul. Equally important and relatively new is the understanding that we have an “Outer Child” who might be considered an outer manifestation of the Inner Child. The Outer Child is the part of us that typically acts out, creates drama, lacks willpower, clings to the painful past, self-sabotages, craves food and attention, and goes for immediate gratification instead of structure. Material includes lecture, discussion, numerous exercises, and hypnotherapy. If any of this sounds like you or is of interest, this workshop is a MUST for understanding how to balance your “inner and outer” personal world!

Necessary Endings: When Letting Go Is Critical to Moving Forward
Friday, May 18, 2012
8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
[H]ow do you welcome the seasons of life into your personal or professional relationships? In some cases, endings are necessary, even if painful, and there is a difference between what needs “fixing” and what needs ending. In this extremely helpful workshop, we will discuss:
- how endings are woven into the fabric of life itself;
- how necessary endings are real and relevant and bring profound results;
- how “stuck” can feel normal, and suffering to end suffering is not the same as suffering that creates more;
- how feelings of “hopelessness” can be a lifesaving virtue that prompts change;
- how reality checks are important (i.e., when you keep believing it will get better);
- how diagnosing character can bring accurate predictions;
- how tackling internal and external barriers is important in the process.
Methods include lecture, personal evaluation exercises, discussion, and hypnotherapy!
“Safe vs. Unsafe People”: How to Evaluate Whether a Relationship Is Good for You
Friday, June 27, 2012
8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
[D]id you know that there are actually traits associated with “unsafe” people? In this powerful workshop, we will discuss a topic that is critical for all of us to understand to lead a peaceful life. What are the traits of safe vs. “unsafe” people? Why do we often attract unsafe people into our lives? Why might we be choosing these unsafe relationships and how do we know when to end the relationship or stay? And how?
Many of us reach out when we want to share our joys and successes and also during trials when we seek to be understood. Sometimes those people we reach out to dismiss, neglect, damage, or even “tear” us down. We will discuss the traits of unsafe people and specifically how you might evaluate the people with whom you are investing yourself. You will explore your blind spots and vulnerabilities and gain awareness about your choices and about character discernment. In some cases, if you are unable to leave an “unsafe” person (either at home or at work), we will discuss how you might better stay present. Methods include lecture, personal evaluation exercises, discussion, and hypnotherapy!
Why Your Willpower Matters and How to Boost It!
Thursday, August 2, 2012
8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
[D]id you know that your will is your key to change and transformation and the part of you that makes growth possible? In this eye-opening workshop, we will explore the seven characteristics of the will and evaluate your relationship to them in your life now. We will discuss how:
- the will reflects your relationship to freedom
- the will allows you to choose and determine your life direction
- the will is your motivator and is connected directly to your consciousness
- how the will stands in opposition sometimes to the mind, and
- how discipline, persistence, decisiveness, initiative, and vitality are stages of awakening within you!
We will evaluate your life story by exploring the participation of your will in your story, and how, by better applying your will NOW, you can “course correct.” This is a “backbone” workshop to strengthen your relationship to yourself and to enhance your life!
